Take a Look at the Upcoming Meetings in Hastings

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – If you’d like to stay up-to-date with new developments in the village, there are a couple of board meetings this week that can help with that.  Take a look below at some of the meetings this week.

The Hastings Board of Trustees will be meeting Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. in the James Harmon Community Center instead of in the Municipal Building this week.  After listening to public comments and the village manager’s report, the board will discuss a few village issues.

The board will discuss the planning board’s recommendations for a modification to the steep slope law. There will also be a discussion of an electronic communications policy and an update on the waterfront. You can view the full agenda on the official village website.

The Hastings Planning Board will be meeting Thursday night at 8:15 p.m. in the Municipal Building. The board will discuss an application for the construction of a new two-story, single-family dwelling on the vacant lot next to 78 High St.

There will be old public hearings to discuss a special use permit site plan review and approval and a view and preservation recommendation application on behalf of AT&T.  In the new public hearings, the board will discuss a subdivision approval for the realigning of two residents’ property lines and a view preservation and site plan review application for the conversion of an office building into a single-family residence with office space. You can view the full agenda on the official village website.
