HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- There are plenty of village matters that will be discussed this week. Take a look below at some of the meetings and events happening this week.
The Hastings Senior Council will be meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the James V. Harmon Community Center on the lower level.
There will be a panel in Hastings Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the community center to discuss the recent property tax cap and what it could mean going forward. Panelists will include New York State Assemblyman Thomas J. Abinanti, Ron Deutsch, director of New Yorkers for Fiscal Fairness, Nicolette Minozzi, who is a Westchester East-Putnam Region PTA Advocacy Chairperson and Alfred DelBello, chairman of the Westchester County Association.
School taxes are due to the Town of Greenburgh on Friday and will be accepted all day.
There will also be free family lice checks in the community center on Friday starting at 3 p.m.
