DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. There are plenty of village matters that will be discussed around town this week. Take a look below at some of the meetings and events scheduled for this week. Dobbs Ferry will be having a ground breaking ceremony for the Waterfront Revitalization project on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Waterfront Park. The Dobbs Ferry Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. in Village Hall to discuss a number of village matters. There will be a public hearing for the consideration of amending the leaf blower law for municipal workers. The board will consider appointing David Fisher as intermediate account clerk in the village. The board will also consider the appointment of Ann-Marie Mitroff to the Westchester County Saw Mill River Basin Advisory Board and the appointment of Eric Tirschwell to the ethics committee.A request from Springhurst Elementary School to place signs and banners across Dobbs Ferry to promote its upcoming pumpkin fair will also be considered.The board will consider a request from Half Moon Restaurant for an extension for waterfront parking permits.There will also be a motion to consider allowing the Chabad of the Rivertowns to construct a Menorah display at the intersection of Cedar St. and Main St. from Dec. 20-28.The entire agenda for the board of trustees meeting can be found on the village calendar.
