A Bevy of Christmas Services in the Villages

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Christmas is a time when churches everywhere will be filled with local residents saying their prayers and sharing time with loved ones.

“I think this is an occasion for people to be hugely sentimental, it calls up for everybody, Christmas past and people have loved and lost and childhood lived and lost,” said South Church Rev. Joseph Gilmore.  “So there is around the edges of Christmas a kind of melancholy as people remember all the days that came and went.”

Remembering and enjoying past holidays with family and friends is a big draw for many to visit their local house of worship. Take a look below at a list of services taking place throughout town on Christmas Eve as well as Christmas Day.
