HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Superman Batman, Cinderella and various ghouls, goblins, super heroes and their parents filled downtown Hastings-on-Hudson on Sunday for a Halloween Parade and window painting.

the Villages annual Window Painting contest began at 1 0 a.m. when local kids painted storefront windows o Main Street and Warburton Avenue. The children and others in costume then gathered at the James Harmon Community Center at 2 p.m. for the parade through the village.
