RIVERTOWNS, N.Y. – Andrus on Hudson is screening the new documentary “Game Show Dynamos” on Friday, Dec. 5, at 8 p.m. in the auditorium.
The film follows Bernard and Claire Boiko as they win enough money on television game shows to escape debt and follow their dreams. From "Tic-Tac-Dough" in 1956 to "Jeopardy in 1967: to "Trivial Pursuit" in 1993, they competed on national television 28 times.
Daughter Patricia melds 10 different game shows and a soundtrack with vivid motion graphics and vintage footage to paint an intimate portrait of her quirky parents.
The fun begins at 7 p.m. with a red carpet party with filmmaker Patricia Boiko, film star Claire Boiko and motion graphics artist Molly Murphy. There will be a champagne toast, red carpet photos and the opportunity to participate in a live game show. The Boiko's and Murphy will also be available after the screening to answer question
There is a $5 suggested donation for the screening and the party, which is open to the public.
