SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Ramapo Central School District meet the Suffern Central School District.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo officially signed into a law Tuesday a bill allowing the school to change its name, which will go into effect in 30 days.
"We are officially doing business as Suffern Central," Lisa Weber, Assistant Superintendent For Instruction, tweeted.
Ramapo Central often receives media queries, as well as questions from the public and other school districts intended for the East Ramapo Central School District and other area schools. Voters are often confused regarding which school district they should cast their vote for school board and school budget elections.
