RAMAPO, N.J. -- Deborah Wortham is East Ramapo's new interim schools superintendent.
Since 2011, she had been head of schools in York, Pa., according to reports.
She would like to send the message that all students have a future. She helps them see themselves beyond where they are, to get them to dream, and to look the part, lohud.com said.
The 58-year-old Chicago native said she is in support of uniforms and explained when students wear uniforms, it improves and enhances school pride and allows them to focus on unity, lohud.com said.
