Rockland Businessman Supports Trump With New Campaign Headquarters

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- Undeterred by Donald Trump’s remarks about Muslims and women, one Rockland businessman shelled out his own money to open a headquarters for the presidential hopeful, according to a report by News12.

Barry Fixler, right, opened a campaign headquarters in the Clarkstown hamlet of Bardonia for Donald Trump at his own expense. It is open seven days a week.

Fixler told News12 that, despite the controversy, he doesn’t believe that the Republican candidate is a racist.

Trump, a billionaire businessman and part-time Bedford resident, has vowed to force Mexico to build a border wall and is promising to eject millions of undocumented immigrants if elected.

Trump, who owns an estate in Bedford, also owns Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley in Stormville and Trump National Westchester in Briarcliff Manor. The Trump name also adorns Trump Tower At City Center in White Plains, Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, Trump Park Residences in Yorktown and the Donald J. Trump State Park on the Westchester/Putnam border.
