ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A woman who was suffering from a medical condition had to be extricated from her vehicle Wednesday after slamming into a stone wall in Spring Valley, according to Spring Valley police.
When police arrived on scene around 11 p.m. in the area of 47 West St., they found a 2014 RAV4 on its roof with a 21-year-old woman trapped inside, said Office Matthew Galli.
The Spring Valley Fire Department was dispatched for extrication of the driver, as well as Spring Hill Ambulance due to unknown injuries of the woman, Gallie said.
Once free, the woman was treated for minor injuries and told officers that she suffered a medical episode prior to the accident, passed out and struck the stone wall causing the vehicle to flip, he added.
She was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for evaluation.
No charges were filed.
