Teen Points BB Gun At Woman During Confrontation In Airmont, Police Say

AIRMONT, N.Y. -- An 18-year-old man was is facing multiple charges after Ramapo Police say he pointed a BB gun at a woman during  a confrontation in the Village of Airmont on Saturday night.

The woman said that during the incident, the man pointed what appeared to be a handgun at her, police said.She then left the scene and contacted police, according to police. Officers responded to the residence and located the male suspect.

After an investigation, officers recovered two BB guns from the property. One of the BB guns was allegedly used during the incident, police said.

The unidentified male was placed under arrest and charged with menacing and aggravated harassment. He is being held at RPD pending arraignment.
