The arrest came about following a motor vehicle stop for several alleged violations on Monday at about 3:04 a.m., according to officials.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Gladimir Samedi, was found to be in an intoxicated condition, and failed standardized sobriety tests at the scene, police report.
The suspect was taken into custody and transported to Police Headquarters, where he submitted to a breathalyzer test, according to officials.
Following processing, Samedi was released on $100 bail and turned over to the care of a friend, police report.
The defendant is due back in Nyack Justice Court on Tuesday, Oct. 4, according to officials.
