SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. -- A Spring Valley father was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after being stopped for driving in an erratic manner with his two children in the car on Sunday night, according to the Rockland County Sheriff's Office.
Aharon Lapp, 35, was stopped after deputies observed him driving erratically on McNamara Road, according to Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco. Once stopped, deputies determined that Lapp was under the influence of drugs and that he had two children, under the age of 16, in the car at the time of the stop, police said.
Lapp was released on his own recognizance following arraignment at Ramapo Justice Court, police said.
