RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Anti-semitic graffiti was sprayed-painted in front of two houses on Carteret Drive in the Pomona section of Ramapo on Monday, according to the Ramapo Police Department.
A resident called police about 1:55 a.m. to report that someone had painted the words "No Jews" in front of the two homes that are both for sale and have real estate signs in the front yards, said Detective Lt. Mark Emma.
The graffiti was spray-painted in orange paint in front of the signs on the street, Emma said.
Officers found additional graffiti on a real estate sign at the corner of Conklin Road and Carteret Drive was also marked with the same words in the same color spray paint, he added.
Ramapo detectives are investigating this incident.
