RAMAPO, N.Y. -- A Spring Valley resident was arrested by Ramapo Police for aggravated driving under the influence with a child in the car and endangering the welfare of a child after being stopped on Camp Hill Road on Sunday, April 10.
According to police, the 50-year-old driver was also charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence, aggravated first-degree unlicensed operation, and various traffic infractions, including two summonses for no seat belt of two back seat passengers ages 8 and 15.
In addition, police responded to seven car accidents at the following locations:
- Route 202-Northeast Ramapo
- North Airmont Road- Montebello
- Route 202-Northeast Ramapo
- Robin Hood Road-Montebello
- Camp Hill Road-Pomona
- Route 59-Airmont
- East Eckerson Road-Hillcrest.
