RAMAPO, N.Y. -- A Pomona woman was charged with driving under the influence Sunday after hitting a utility pole, according to the Ramapo Police.

Randi Grippo-Marvin, 49, was arrested after police received a report that a car had hit a utility pole on Chestnut Ridge Road in the Village of Chestnut Ridge and discovered she was intoxicated when they arrived, Det. Lt. Mark Emma said.

She was processed by the department and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
