Pomona Man Stopped On PIP Had Cannabis Oil, Police Say

POMONA, N.Y. -- A Pomona man was nabbed Saturday on drug charges after he was stopped for a traffic violation, according to the New York State Police.

Bryan Mitowski, 23, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana after troopers discovered marijuana and a bottle of concentrated cannabis oil in his vehicle during the stop on the Palisades Parkway.

Mitowski was arraigned in the Town of Haverstraw Court and released on his own recognizance pending a future court date.
