Monsey Fire Ravages Route 306 Home

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Firefighters from several departments battled an overnight fire Monday at a home on Route 306 in Monsey.

Ramapo police also responded to the two-story home at 244 Route 306 to help evacuate residents, said Ramapo police.

Firefighters from the Monsey, Hillcrest, Spring Valley, Tallman, South Spring Valley Fire departments all responded, police said.

No injuries were reported. The Town of Ramapo Fire Inspector, Rockland County BCI, and Ramapo detectives also responded to the scene. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
