Driver Found In Spring Valley Hit-Run That Leaves Pedestrian Injured

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Police have located the driver that hit an elderly man on Friday and fled the scene in Spring Valley, leaving the man with life-threatening injuries.

An unidentified 39-year-old Spring Valley has been charged with felony leaving the scene of a crash after hitting the elderly man around 7 a.m. on Memorial Park Drive, police said.

Police had asked the public for help in tracking down the man who was possibly driving a gray minivan. 

The condition of the elderly man was not available.

Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the crash have been asked to contact investigators at the Spring Valley Police Department by calling (845) 356-7400.
