Bardonia Man Faces Drug, License Charges After Suffern Traffic Stop

SUFFERN, N. Y. -- A 38-year-old Bardonia man is facing criminal charges after Suffern police stopped his car on Clinton Place in Suffern and later found prescription drugs, police said.

The man was charged with driving with a suspended registration and possession of a controlled substance, police said. He was released pending a future court date, police said.

Officer Andrew Yorke stopped the car after being alerted to the suspended license by a license plate reader, police said. Police saw a clear bag in the car, then found more prescription pills with the help of the K-9 unit, police said.
