RAMAPO, N.Y. -- A man was arrested following an alleged domestic violence incident Tuesday in Airmont, according to the Town of Ramapo Police Department.
Officers responded at 7:30 p.m. to find both parties separated, police said.
Officers took statements from the complainant and alleged suspect and investigated the incident, according to police.
Upon completing the initial investigation, the homeowner, 52, was arrested and charged with second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief, police said.
The suspect was arraigned in front of a Village of Airmont Court Justice and released on his own recognizance with a stay away order of protection and a future Village of Airmont Justice Court date, according to police.
