Enita Lembo, 96, Former Ridgewood Resident

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Enita Lembo -- an Oakland resident, formerly of Ridgewood -- died on Saturday, Jan. 28. She was 96.

Lembo was born in West Port, Rhode Island, to Rosco and Marion Pettey. She worked for Valley Hospital, in Ridgewood, and she was a cook for Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, in Ridgewood.

She is survived by her sons, Donald Lembo of Suffern and Stephen Lembo of West Milford, and grandchildren Stephen, Adam and Christine.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, 306 East Ridgewood Ave., in Ridgewood. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 1 Passaic St., in Ridgewood. Burial will follow in George Washington Memorial Park, in Paramus.
