Spring Valley Mayor Claims Victory In Building Inspector Dispute

SPRING VALLEY, N. Y. -- Spring Valley Mayor Demeza Delhomme is calling for all village leaders to stop fighting and work together now that a state judge found he did not violate a court order to reinstate the village's chief building inspector, lohud.com reports.

State Supreme Court Justice Gerald Loehr also upheld Delhomme's reorganization of the building department that removed two fire inspectors from chief Building Inspector Walter Booker's supervision, according to lohud.com.

Booker, who was removed from his job last year but then won it back in court, contends that Delhomme was making it difficult to resume his duties, lohud.com says.
