ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A serious motor vehicle crash involving an overturned vehicle resulted in the closure of a stretch of Route 17 between Sloatsburg and Hillburn in Rockland on Sunday morning.
The car went off the road and crashed into a snow bank, according to the Ramapo Police Department.
The crash, reported just before 10 a.m., was between Route 72/Sterling Mine Road and I-87.
The motorist in the vehicle involved was extricated by the Sloatsburg Fire Department. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time and only suffered minor injuries, Ramapo Police said.
