Maltese Rescued After Falling Into Sewer Grate, Ramapo PD Says

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police came to the rescue of a dog on Sunday who had fallen into a sewer grate in the village of Airmont.

Lulu, a 12-year-old Maltese, accidentally fell in the grate around 2:40 p.m. and her owner called Ramapo police for help.

Luckily, officers were able to rescue Lulu and return her, uninjured, to her grateful owner.
