SLOATSBURG, N.Y. -- Designer eyewear company Warby Parker will get as much as $1.32 million in tax credits via Empire State Development, New York's economic development agency, according to lohud.com.
The company will construct a new optical lab in Sloatsburg, which will create 128 jobs over the next five years, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Wednesday.
The new, 34,000-square-foot optical lab is the first that Warby Parker will fully own. It will be outfitted for the assembly of glasses as well as the finishing of prescription lenses.
