Carmel High School Students Highlighting Works of Mark Harvey Levine

CARMEL, N.Y. – Thirty Carmel High School drama students led by two directors are to perform a nine-act play featuring various works by author Mark Harvey Levine, according to a statement from the school district.

Carmel High School is to host multiple performances of “The Funny Side of Fate: A Showcase of One Act Plays By Mark Harvey Levine”

The performance, “The Funny Side of Fate: A Showcase of One Act Plays By Mark Harvey Levine,” is set to take place at the high school’s Casey Hall, 30 Fair Street, Carmel, according to the school district.

Performances are scheduled to take place at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 10; 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 12; and 2 p.m. on Nov. 13, according to the district.

The directors of the play – Chloe Blaney and Cole Doherty – worked with Drama Club Advisor Margaret Carey to select nine, one-act plays by Levine that are no longer than 10 minutes each, according to the school district.

The cast includes Samantha Altman, Brynn Alvord, Amanda Behnken, Alison Devane, Asher Duke, Julia Field, Andriy Gura, Ben Hitchcock, Erik Konschak, Autumn Laughin, Ayden Mallegol, Martin Mangan, Caraline McDonnell, Lena McKee, Erin Mendez, Dom Milazzo, Stephanie Ogebor, Grayce Orser, Jovani Perez, Deanna Prekpalaj, Liz Pulley, James Purr, Beck Spears, Liam Tuffy, Anthony Velez, Rachel Vetterman, Aidan Wilk and Natalie Wright.

Tickets to the performances cost $15 for premium seats in the first three rows of the hall, according to the district. Remaining seats are $12 for adults and $10 for students.
