BREWSTER, N.Y. -- Timothy Conway, Superintendent of Schools for the Brewster Central School District, has written a letter to encourage students, teachers, parents and support staff, to attend a meeting to help in the search for a new Brewster high school prinicipal.
Good day to the families of BHS students,
As you know, Dr. Joseph Castagnola has announced that he will be retiring as principal of Brewster High School as of June 30, 2016. As part of the process to find the best replacement for Dr. Castagnola, we are planning to organize various gatherings of students, teachers, support staff and parents to hear opinions regarding what skills and characteristics are considered important to the success of our next principal of Brewster High School.
Dr. Valerie Henning, our deputy superintendent, and I will facilitate events which will be held at Brewster High School. We intend that these sessions will be a casual exchange so that people will be comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas.
We have scheduled the gathering for families and parents for Nov. 5, at 6:45 p.m., in the LGI Room at Brewster High School, 50 Foggintown Road. If you have something to share but cannot attend this gathering, please feel free to email me at tconway@brewsterschools.org.
The selection of our next high school principal is a very important decision that will be made better with your input. Therefore, please come to this session and share your thoughts and suggestions with us.
Have a great day!
Timothy J. Conway
Superintendent of Schools
