Troopers in Ulster County stopped the woman’s car just before 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, in the town of New Paltz for multiple vehicle and traffic violations, according to New York State Police.

They determined the driver, Allison Aber, of Malta in Saratoga County, was intoxicated and arrested her.

She was taken to a State Police facility in Highland, where police said tests revealed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.28 percent, over three times the legal limit for driving.

Aber was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and released on an appearance ticket.

She’s due back at the Town of New Paltz Court on Aug. 3.
