Update: Northampton County Man, 76, Reported Missing Found Safe

UPDATE: Moants has been located, state police said.

State Police are seeking the public’s help locating a man they say may be at special risk of harm or injury.

Richard Moants, 76, was last seen 6 a.m. Thursday leaving his home in Bath Borough, according to PSP Bethlehem.

Moants is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and is balding with white hair and blue eyes, police said.

He was wearing jeans and a dark blue jacket when he was last seen, authorities said.

Moants drives a silver 2007 Chevrolet Blazer with PA license plates reading PD4853D. His vehicle also has passenger-side rear quarter panel damage and a small American flag sticker on the back bumper, police said.

Moants is possibly at “special risk of harm or injury” and may be confused, state police added.

Anyone with information about Moants’ location is asked to call 911.
