Suspects Climb Through Drive-Through Window In $3.6K Long Island City McDonald's Robbery

The NYPD is asking the public for help identifying three people who allegedly held up a McDonald's at gunpoint after climbing through a drive-thru window.

The incident took place around 4 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 16 at the Queens Boulevard McDonald's in Long Island City, said the NYPD.

According to police, three unidentified individuals approached the drive-thru window of the restaurant in a black sedan. Two entered the restaurant by climbing through the window, while the remained in the car. 

Once inside, the men pulled a firearm and demanded money from a safe from a store employee. The employee complied and the individuals fled eastbound on Queens Boulevard in the vehicle with more than $3,600 in cash, police said.

There were no injuries reported.
