KENT, N.Y. -- A Kent family was able to escape their burning house unscathed early Tuesday night, according to lohud.com.
Firefighters responded to the call of smoke on White Pond Colony Road West at approximately 11 p.m. Narrow roads and a lack of fire hydrants in the area hampered efforts to extinguish the blaze, lohud.com reported.
Authorities have yet to determine a cause for the fire, lohud.com said.
