CARMEL, N.Y. -- Buddy is looking for a home.
The 4-year-old shepherd/husky/hound mix is up for adoption at the Putnam Humane Society.
The shelter folks say he is very friendly and social and would be “a great jogging buddy.”
A home where he would be an only dog would be perfect, the shelter says.
Potential doggy parents can visit Buddy from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. daily. Cat lovers can visit the kitties from 10 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. daily.

The shelter is located at 68 Old Route 6, Carmel.
It is open Sundays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
