KENT, N.Y. -- Michael Mahoney, president of the Kent Library Board and former Library Board President Marty Collins recently thanked Assemblywoman Sandy Galef for sponsoring a $50,000 state grant which paid for the recent renovations to the lower level of the Kent Public Library.

Numerous children’s programs, art workshops, lectures, movies, and used book sales have already taken place in the new program room and book cellar, said Library Director Carol Donick.

"It is a great addition to the library," she added.
