PATTERSON, N.Y. — A bankruptcy court gave A&P permission to bring in a third party to help sell its remaining 55 stores, but the Patterson supermarket isn’t part of the deal, lohud.com reports.
What will become of that store is unclear, although a tentative deal had been reached with Acme. No details of that transaction have been filed with the court, however, and the landlord of the property at 3101 Route 22 has little information, the story says.
All A&P supermarkets are now closed, and the company will soon leave its Montvale, N.J., headquarters, according to the article.
