MAHOPAC, N.Y. – It’s cocktail time!

So sit back and take a virtual sip. Daily Voice readers have picked three nominees in our ongoing DVlicious contest.

You have until 5 p.m. on Friday Oct. 23 to cast your vote for "Best Cocktails in Putnam County." Go here .

But first, wet your whistle on the following. Each finalist is being profiled this week.

Dish Bistro & Wine Bar, 947 S Lake Blvd, Mahopac, (845) 621-3474

Cocktails Offered: 11 craft cocktails along with daily specials driven by the season.

Most Fun Concoction: The Ol’ Crown is a locally inspired play on a classic Old Fashioned using 287 Whiskey from Port Chester, N.Y., Dutch County Organic Bourbon Aged Maple Syrup, and hand squeezed orange juice.

Shaken and Stirred: Cocktails are designed to pair with Dish's seasonal menu according to Owner and Executive Chef Peter Milano. "The provenance of the drink ingredients is very important," he said. "We take the time to make sure that we source handcrafted spirits, hand squeeze our own juices, and are sure to test our product's quality on a regular basis."

Remember, drink responsibly, and be aware that you can only vote once.
