The event, sponsored by County Executive Rob Astorino in partnership with LatinBusinessToday, a national online publication, will focus on key areas of small-business development – customers, capital and contracts.

The summit, “Crossroads to Customers, Capital and Contracts," will be held 5-9 p.m. at the college's Gateway Center Atrium, 75 Grasslands Road, Valhalla.

“Building on the success of our first Hispanic Business Summit last year, we are delighted to bring it back with our partner, Latin Business Today,” Astorino said.

About 10 percent of Westchester businesses are owned by Hispanics, and the number continues to grow, Astorino added.

The free summit will offer business owners the opportunity to learn from a panel of experts. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to attend workshops and network with both private and public providers that can help start or grow their business.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Tony Jimenez, president and CEO of MicroTech, a Washington, D.C.-based technology company.

To register, visit www.LatinBusinessToday.com/success. Registration is encouraged, as seating is limited.
