The Greater Nanuet Chamber of Commerce is hosting the fourth annual Nanuet Street Fair on June 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Main Street. Parking and admission are free.

This year's event will feature old-fashioned games with participants competing against local politicians including Rockland County Executive Ed Day, Clarkstown Town Supervisor George Hoehmann and their families.

The family games will support the Nanuet Schools Family Resource Center and CANDLE who will be on hand to coordinate three-legged races, egg and spoon relays, potato sack races, and a giant Simon Says game.

“We try to do something unique each time which is why we only host one Street Fair each year. We want it to be an event to remember," said Risa Hoag, President of the Greater Nanuet Chamber of Commerce.

The Nanuet Street Fair features nearly 200 vendors including local businesses and craft vendors from across the tri-state area.  The entertainment schedule will include Nanuet High School Students to perform the opening ceremony, Baddhabit, a Tribute Band To 80s Rock, the Ice Cream Social Performers, featuring local Rockland County Students; and performances from local arts and dance schools.

The Nanuet Chamber of Commerce Booth will provide free gift bags for the first 500 families and the Town of Clarkstown will be on hand to explain the Transit Oriented Development project to improve the downtown Nanuet area.
