KENT, N.Y. -- Learn the principles of psychology, tried and true methodology, magic and the neuroscientific facts that boost creative ability at a Creative Boot Camp (in two parts) that will be held at the Kent Public Library.
The first session is Monday, March 21, from 6:30-7:15 p.m., and the second session is Monday, March 28, from 6:30-7:15 p.m.
The Boot Camp will be presented by Nannette Stone, author, artist, broadcaster and therapist.
Register once for both sessions. At the boot camp, participants will do hands-on exercises and share ideas.
At the event, participants can discover how to develop confidence and courage, and where to go for feedback and support.
Attendees can find more ways to capture ideas before they slip from memory; know good questions to ask yourself and others; get tips to deal with fear of failing, time constraints, harsh inner critics, procrastination and lack of resources.
Experts often cite motivation as the single most important determinant of your creative ability.
The program is for adults. Registration is required. Register for the program by clicking here or calling the library at 845-225-8585.
The Kent Public Library is at 17 Sybil's Crossing, Kent Lakes.
