MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- Singers, dancers, musicians, comedians are invited to auditions  on Thursday, Feb. 8, at the Italian American Club of Mahopac for the 2016 Putnam County’s Got Talent show.  

The auditions will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., and all ages are welcome to try out; but you must audition in order to be a contestant, organizers said. 

The show and competition take place Sunday, Feb. 28, at the club at 141 Buckshollow Road. Prizes include $250 first place; $100 second place, and $50 third place. In addition to the show, there will be a social hour, refreshments, raffle prizes and more.
