The blood drive is scheduled for Friday, March 24 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The high school, which shares its building with North Salem Middle School, is located at 230 June Road in North Salem. The blood drive is in memory of Elizabeth Butler, a local teenager who was raped and murdered by her boyfriend in 2005. A foundation, which was also set up in her memory, has held annual walk-a-thons and an event called Art Against Abuse, which promotes awareness of domestic violence.
