The 2005 Fox Lane graduate was an All-America lacrosse attackman and hockey standout in high school who went on to enjoy a productive lacrosse career at the University of Pennsylvania, where he finished as the Quakers’ third-leading scorer his senior year, in 2009, while also earning Academic All-Academic honors.

But Weber has always enjoyed performing outside of sports as well.

“I love trying to make people laugh, and I'm big on pranks,” he said. “In high school, I sent a letter to my parents from NASA saying I'd been admitted to their Elite Training Program, but first needed to complete a list of trials, including running a mile and a half with an egg on a spoon. I came into the kitchen one day and my dad (Frank) had laid out rows of eggs and spoons. I died laughing.

“A few years later when I was interning in finance, I sent my parents a letter from the bank saying it'd been reported that I'd been stealing staplers from people's desks.

"They've put up with a lot from me.”

Weber’s flair for the dramatic is now paying off. Literally.

He lives in Los Angeles and is in the early stage of what looks to be a successful acting career. He’s made appearances on NBC’s “Tonight Show,” CBS’s “The Young and the Restless” and also been cast in several commercials.

“ ‘The Tonight Show’ was hilarious,” he said “It was one of my first jobs out here, and it was a skit where I was doing keg stands with Jay Leno, Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda (Kotb). ‘The Young and The Restless’ was really cool to see that level of professionalism. They produce episodes every single day, and are so skilled and methodical.”

He also just filmed a Dunkin’ Donuts commercials that will start airing nationally soon.

“Funnily enough, I had to ice skate during the shoot,” he said. “That's all Fox Lane hockey.

Weber just completed perhaps his most attention-grabbing and unique project yet – a video in which he shows his singing talents by asking country music star Taylor Swift for a date.

“I've always been a fan. I love her music, and I think it's pretty cool and rare how humble she is given her level of stardom,” Weber said. “I was sitting around with some buddies and one of her interviews came on. I kept talking about how I genuinely felt that she and I would be a great couple. They, of course, gave me a hard time because who wouldn't want to date her?

"To shut me up, they said, ‘All right if you want to date her so badly, ask her out.’ So I did.”

Weber credits much of his early success in acting to his sports background.

“Sports are all about devoting yourself to a pursuit, and continually dusting yourself to make the next play,” he said. “There are ups and downs every single day in acting.

"As long as I'm really putting myself fully out there, I can live with the result. Take what I can from the experience, and move on. It’s all about the next play.”
