Officers with the Greenwich Police Department Warrants and Extraditions Unit responded to the Westchester County Correctional Facility (10 Woods Road in Valhalla) to extradite Michael Taylor, 35, of the Bronx, to the state of Connecticut on Tuesday, June 11.

Greenwich Police say they held an active warrant stemming from a burglary in Glenville on August 21, 2018. A subsequent investigation identified Taylor as a suspect, prompting police to obtain a warrant for his arrest.

Taylor was transported back to GPD where he was processed and charged with second-degree burglary. He was unable to post his $10,000 court-set bond and was held at Greenwich Police Headquarters pending next-day arraignment.

Taylor is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Tuesday, June 25.
