POUND RIDGE, N.Y. - Here’s a look at events taking place around Pound Ridge this week, including government meetings and library happenings.

Monday, April 16

Mobile Passport Day: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Westchester County Clerk’s Office will hold a mobile passport day at Scott’s Corner Market. Bring the proper documentation including proof that you are a United States citizen such as a previous unexpired U.S. Passport, an original or certified copy of your birth certificate, a consular report of birth abroad or a naturalization certificate. You will also need proof of your identity such as a current valid driver’s license or a government issued identification card. The fee for an adult passport is $135 and for a child’s passport is $105. The staff can take a photo for an additional $10 fee. Passport day will be located at 55 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge.

Tuesday, April 17

Pound Ridge Business Association General Membership Meeting:  6 p.m. The Pound Ridge Business Association will meet at DiNardo’s restaurant in Scott’s Corners. The meeting will follow dinner. The restaurant is located at 76 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge.

Wednesday, April 18

Bedford School District School Board Meeting: 8 p.m. The board of education will hold one of its two regular monthly meetings at the Fox Lane Middle School’s Little Theater, 632 S. Bedford Road, Bedford.

Pound Ridge Library Presents “In the Words of Women”: 7:30 p.m. Presented by local authors Louise V. North, Janet M. Wedge and Landa Freeman, this event will give a unique look into the Revolutionary War Period as seen through the eyes of women of all races, ages and “walks of life” who lived between 1765 and 1799. Pound Ridge Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting: The ZBA will hold its regular monthly meeting at the Town House. Agenda items include a continued public hearing for Pound Ridge Holdings Trust and its application to build a second accessory apartment in a R-3A zoning district. The Town House is located at 179 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge.

Fun With Music at Pound Ridge Library: 11 a.m. The library presents “Fun With Music” featuring Laura D'Amico, a music program for children ages 5 and under. There is no fee, but registration is required. Call the library at 914-764-5085. Pound Ridge Library, 271 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge.

Watch It at Pound Ridge Library: 10:30 p.m. The library presents a viewing of the Academy Award-nominated movie “War Horse.” Bring a lunch to enjoy after the film. Beverages are provided. The event is sponsored by the Neighbor to Neighbor program. The library is located at 271 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge.
