This is a great weekend for music lovers in the Lewisboro/Pound Ridge area. Classic rock icon Greg Lake will perform at the Ridgefield Playhouse, the Lewisboro Library presents its Common Ground Folk Series featuring Atwater-Donnelly, and Marielas Wine Bar offers up another weekend of free live music. In addition, the Wolf Conservation Center has several cool programs on tap, including a birthday party for its year-old ambassador wolves.

The Hooves of War: 10:30 a.m. The Pound Ridge Library presents the Academy Award-nominated movie War Horse. Bring a lunch to enjoy after the film. Beverages are provided. The event is sponsored by the Neighbor to Neighbor program. The library is located at 271 Westchester Ave.

Now They Are 1: 6:30 p.m.: The Wolf Conservation Center will celebrate an important milestone ambassador wolves Alawa and Zephyrs first birthday. Guests will learn about the mythology, biology and ecology of wolf families and discover why spring is a magical time for packs in North America. Guests will take a short sunset hike to howl Happy Birthday with Alawa and Zephyr, and staff will give the pair special wolfy gifts. Ambassador wolf Atka and the WCCs critically endangered red wolves and Mexican wolves will also be on view. All guests will be served weather-appropriate treats. Bring flashlights. What a Big Myth You Have! 2 p.m. Wolf Conservation Center Presents Wolf Tails for Kids Mythology of a Predator." Join the WCC for its first-ever wolf mythology program to learn about the relationship between wolves and humans in the past. Guests will be introduced to various wolf mythologies and then have a chance to create their own and share if desired. Then, guests will visit ambassador wolves Atka, Alawa and Zephyr as well as the WCCs critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves. Dont forget a camera. Evening With a Rock Legend: 8 p.m. Ridgefield Playhouse presents Greg Lake in Songs of a Lifetime. The former member of Emerson, Lake & Palmer and King Crimson presents an evening of music, stories and Q&A, an intimate performance of one of the greatest voices and musical minds of a generation.
