Wallkill Authorities Seek Help In Tracking Down Man Who Fired Gun In Mall

WALLKILL, N.Y. – Wallkill authorities are still searching for the man who fired a single round into the floor in front of the American Eagle Store at the Galleria at Crystal Run on Sunday.

A white, or possibly Hispanic male, wearing a dark jacket and grey pants fired the shot into the floor just after 3 p.m. He is said to be about 6-feet, 2-inches tall, Wallkill Police said. 

After firing off the round the man left the mall with a female, also either white or Hispanic, who was wearing maroon pants and a dark jacket, officials said. 

A 49-year-old mother and her 12-year-old son suffered minor leg wounds as a result of the gunshot.
