POUND RIDGE, N.Y. The Pound Ridge Town Board will hold a public hearing Thursday night at the Town House at 8 p.m. for the Pound Ridge Partnerships proposal to hold a harvest festival block party in Scotts Corners this October.
A special event permit t is needed by the Partnership and the public hearing will provide citizens with the opportunity to comment on the plan.
The festival would include activities for the kids, such as apple bobbing, scarecrow making, pumpkin painting and window painting. The event would also include local wineries and breweries to be on hand to give the festival an Oktoberfest-like feel.
The Pound Ridge Partnership would like to hold the festival on Oct. 15, 2-7 p.m., along Westchester Avenue.
