POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Power has been restored to the Pound Ridge Library, but the building still remains without phone and Internet service.
Library Director Marilyn Tinter said power came back on early Tuesday afternoon.
“We have lights and we have heat,” she said. “Right now, I am the only one here, but I have one of my staff members coming in to help out.”
Tinter said she didn’t know when Internet and Wi-Fi service will be restored, but that people could come to the library to get warm and recharge electronics, such as cell phones and laptops.
The library will resume its regular hours beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
