  • Police stopped an erratic driver on Long Ridge Road driver and ultimately charged him with DWI under Leandra’s Law.
  • The Pound Ridge Library was turned into a Yoga ashram for one day to raise funds for the International Organization for Adolescents, a group devoted to stopping child trafficking.
  • The Pound Ridge Theater Company presented John Patrick Shanley’s Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner, “Doubt,” the basis of the 2008 movie starring Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
  • Pound Ridge Elementary School held its biennial fundraiser at New Canaan’s Waveny House and accepted bids for auction items online for the first time.
  • Marathoners from Pound Ridge and nearby Lewisboro reported on their experiences Monday as bombs went off at the Boston Marathon.
