POUND RIDGE, N.Y. Pound Ridge police arrested a Stamford, Conn. man last week and charged him with driving under the influence.
While performing a radar detail on Westchester Avenue on Friday, police pulled over a motorist for speeding. While talking with the driver, officers said they detected the odor of alcohol. After failing a field sobriety test, police said they arrested Walter G. Ginter Jr., 58, of Stamford.
He was released after posting $250 in bail and is due back in court on Monday.
